Tragedy struck our class this holiday season. On Christmas morning, Chris and his wife Deanna lost to their two boys and only children, Solon (12) and Liam (10), to an early morning fire at Chris's parent's home in Louisville, Kentucky. A memorial service will take place December 29th at St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church in Harrods Creek, Kentucky. The funeral is later this week in Chris's hometown of Barre, Vermont.
If you wish to send Chris and Deanna a note, their address is 9 Morgan Lane, Barre, VT, 05641.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that contributions be made in honor of the boys to The Beauregard Foundation: Solon and Liam Fund, c/o Chrysalis Ventures, 101 S. 5th Street, Suite 1650, Louisville, KY 40202. The contributions will be used to support children’s education programs.

“Your classic neighborhood bistro” is a “quiet getaway” just “a few paces from the hubbub of Rush Street”, where the “good take on standard” French food and “charming atmosphere” (an “authentic zinc bar”) serve up “a little bit of Paris in the Gold Coast”; P.S. contributors compliment the “outstanding child-friendly weekend brunch.” -- Zagat

“Not your grandpa’s steakhouse”, this “suave” TriBeCa version goes well beyond red meat as it attracts “suits” and “young singles” with its first-class fare, “solicitous” service and a next-door “bar scene that’s a blast”... -- Zagat
