Maybe it was turning 40, or having my third child, or breaking free of corporate life to start my own business. I wanted to get back in touch with my Deerfield roots – find out what folks are up to, and just possibly help others to reconnect as well.
And while we're all curious to see how old friends are doing, I suspect and hope that we'll also discover new friends along the way, as Chuck and I already have.

Terrific work on the blog! Wanted to start things off with a Deerfield Class of 1985 trivia question.
Who was the first member of the Class of 1985 to earn a varsity letter and in what sport did he earn it?
All members of the class of 1985 are eligible to participate except for the answer to our question. Winner gets a free gift certificate to Pizza Patch in Greenfield (ie "The Greek")! [Warning the degree of difficulty on this question is 9.5 on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the hardest).]

Great to hear from you. Hope you are doing well.
Thanks for taking a stab at the trivia question. Unfortunately, while Brian is an excellent guess, he is not the first in our class to letter. Brian's first letter actually was spring of freshman year in track if I am not mistaken. He then went on to letter in football and hockey sophomore year. There are actually two people in our class who lettered earlier that year--one in the fall and one in the winter. We are looking for the one in the fall.
