“Your classic neighborhood bistro” is a “quiet getaway” just “a few paces from the hubbub of Rush Street”, where the “good take on standard” French food and “charming atmosphere” (an “authentic zinc bar”) serve up “a little bit of Paris in the Gold Coast”; P.S. contributors compliment the “outstanding child-friendly weekend brunch.” -- Zagat

I'll try a wild stab...David Van Riper for soccer...
Good guess Jay and thanks for taking a stab, but Dave is not the correct answer. If memory serves me, he made Varsity soccer sophomore fall. You are on the right track however guessing a four year man in a fall sport.
Jeff Downing wants to guess "Joe Kaufman in Water Polo."
JD also just got promoted to overseeing kids education program at the New York Botanical gardens! His title is VP For education! And he's in charge of the library! Way to go, Jeff.
Congratulations Jeff on getting the trivia question correct and on your career advancement (not in that order of course!).
Yes, Joe was our first varsity letter winner in the fall of freshman year in water polo. Other freshman year varsity letter winners in our class include Brian Jurek in spring track, Steve Turko in tennis, and Mark Slayton in both winter and spring track.
Will have another trivia question out shortly. I promise the next one won't unfairly favor those of us who were four year men.
